On our way to Skagway

6/29/26: First stop in Fairbanks to stock up on supplies, and get the amazing peanut butter burger at Latitude 65 brewery.

Found a nice RV park just past Fairbanks – Lazy Moose in Salcha.

6/30: Stopped in Tok to fuel up – diesel and propane, staying in the same campground we’d stayed at on the way up, before braving that next section of the Alaska Highway with it’s potholes, gravel, frost heaves, ruts and construction delays. Beautiful scenery made up for it!

7/1: After surviving the road from Tok to Destruction Bay, we stayed at the same rest stop we stayed at on the way up.

7/2: Continuing on the day we intended to stop for the night somewhere past Haines Junction and White horse, but we didn’t find any campgrounds and the rest stops along this highway didn’t allow camping, so we pushed on to Whitehorse for an RV park, realizing when we got there, that we had stayed there on our 2018 trip!
