Tahoe City with family and friends

My brother Bill and his girlfriend Jeanette met us in Tahoe so we just had to take a family photo. Later we had a feast with Kerry and her friends by the lake. Big thanks to all for inviting us!

Babysitting the grand-dog

Met up with Kerry and family in Tahoe City. We get to babysit their dog, Benson, as the cabin they’ve rented with friends doesn’t allow dogs. Charlie, our cat, is not too happy about this, but he’s making the best of it. Fortunately, Benson is a good dog!

Back in California

Stopped for the night in Standish, near Susanville, at Days End RV Park. We drove through forests and high dessert today, past ranches and small towns. Less smoke, some rain and a change of scenery

We drove to Kamloops today. As the smoke lessen, the rain started, so we had light sprinkles most of the day. Passed through some interesting small towns, Clinton and Catch Creek. Still smoky

We drove 359 miles today. The sky was hazy, reminding us of LA smog. The best part of the day was arriving at our destination, Quesnel, and finding a really good brewery there.
