We drove 359 miles today. The sky was hazy, reminding us of LA smog. The best part of the day was arriving at our destination, Quesnel, and finding a really good brewery there.

Roller coaster road and…

Turned onto the Cassiar Highway at Junction 37 on the Alaska Highway. The first 20 miles or so is an oiled gravel pavement. Not bad but certainly not smooth either. And it’s very hilly with grades to 8 percent. There’s no centerline and no shoulders. Fun! Then the road turned into nice, new, smoooooth pavement. […]
