DENALI

Arrived at the campground where Kevin and Megan are the campground hosts. It’s a quiet, beautiful campground and I can see why they’ve taken this job for three seasons in a row now, despite the fact that there is no cell or internet.

The Alaskan range

Polychrome Glaciers

Denali! Only about 30% of the people visiting Denali National Park actually get to see the mountain, as it’s usually hidden by clouds. We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather and saw this magnificent mountain.

Walk down the old road that’s going back to forest

Tundra forest- we saw snowshoe hares and mushrooms.

Rode our bikes on the road through the park. Only the park buses, hikers, and bikes are allowed on this road.

Thank you to Kevin and Megan for sharing their world!
