Frost heaves, a glacier, and RadioShack!

Leaving the Alaskan Highway today at Tok, we took the Tok Cutoff to the Glenn Highway. More rough road – frost heaves made for a very bumpy ride. But it was worth it because at The Hub of Alaska is the last Radio Shack!

Alas, we had to say goodbye and continue on our journey. The scenery was beautiful and we saw our first glacier, the Nelchina Glacier, at the highest point on the Glenn Highway,

We ended the day with a salmon and halibut dinner at the Sheep Mountain Lodge and stayed at the Grand View RV Campground.
