In a holding pattern

More frustration. Contacted Blue Ox, the tow bar company, and they said to call an RV repair shop and have them order an entire latch kit, not just the spring, and have it installed. Which means we’re stuck here in Grande Prairie about 70 miles shy of Dawson Creek (start of the Alaskan Highway) until Thursday or Friday! Also called Thule about the second failure of the arm on the bike rack. Last night we discovered that the same thing happened again – the locked clamp unexpectedly opened and had it not been for the bungee cord, the bike would have fallen off again. Thule is sending a new arm to the REI store in Anchorage and we can pick it up there. In the meantime, the bungee cord will do the job!

On the bright side, found a good brewery in Grande Prairie, had a great lunch at Memphis Blues Barbecue and went on a 1.5 mile hike to Little Lake. Saw many Saskatoon berries along the way.
