Back on the road, with a few glitches

Just as we pulled out of the RV Park, Randy noticed the tow vehicle didn’t feel right. We spent the next hour in the Lowe’s parking lot fixing a latch spring in the tow bar arm. Then, at the lunch stop he checked the bike rack and saw a potential crack in the piece that attaches to the hitch. Not wanting to chance yet another disaster, we put his bike in the back of the Jeep and mine inside the RV. We decided to stop in Edmonton (original plan was to stop an hour or two past Edmonton) and get it checked out. So here we are in the RV Park we would have stayed at if we’d kept on schedule with our friends, Ed and Barbara and visited Edmonton with them! I guess we were meant to stay here! Made the best of it by riding around the park on our bikes and a nice bottle of wine with dinner.

  1. You are getting pretty far up the highway. BTW my sister lived in Red Deer, Alberta for many years…and never stopped talking about the winters… It’s good you’re getting stuff fixed before you swing over into Alaska… enjoy
