Big shout out and THANK YOU to Pedego Electric Bikes Calgary. They fixed the bike back to running condition in just over 2 days to get us back on our trip. It’s a bit of a Frankenstein bike now, but it all works.
We’ve seen more of Calgary than we ever expected. While we waited today we went to a nice farmer’s market and of course another great craft brewery – The Tool Box. But it’s “good bye to Calgary” tomorrow!

Enjoy your next adventure!

Much praise for the Pedego folks up there. Doubt if you would get that kind of quick help down here. Bike “grip” does look a little strange, but if it works, that’s a good thing. Enjoy the journey. Looking at Calgary on line.. that’s no “country town.” It’s pretty much a big city…am sure you will be glad to get going again…

Calgary is a nice city, as cities go. Small downtown and very clean, but we spent much longer there than we had intended.
I know what you mean about getting quick service in an urgent situation. We first called ahead to the pedego dealer in Edmonton but they wouldn’t look at it for a week so then we called back to the one in Calgary. Actually, I think the one we bought our bikes from in Westlake would have been just as helpful given a similar circumstance. They are good folks too.
