April 13, 2025: Our last stop in New Zealand was at the Rose Cottage Airbnb in Karaka, about 25 miles from Auckland. Three nights, two full days, 4/12-4/15. We decided to take it easy and visited the Glenbrook Vintage Railway in nearby Waiuku on 4/13 and a nice leisurely drive to Maraetai on the east coast the next day. Our flight back was at 3:15 PM on 4/15, arriving in SFO at 4: 25 pm the same day!
