We left the Northern Rockies Lodge at Muncho this morning. The smoke had cleared a bit and we could see the lake before we left.
It was still smoky for the rest of the day. We would drive in and out it, but it never really cleared.
We stopped for gas and realized we had stopped at the same place on the way up, some 5 &1/2 weeks ago. I felt like I was so innocent then, but so experienced now!
We stopped for the day in Fort St. John at the Walmart parking lot, as we could only get good cell and internet in town. This is our last night on the Alaska Highway. Tomorrow we will take highway 29 (the Tumbler Ridge Loop) south. On the home page, follow us on the Spot.
