Today we went on a boat tour of the Kenai Fjords. Fantastic views of glaciers and wildlife that we never would have seen like this any other way. Thank you to Megan, Kevin’s girlfriend, for suggesting it.

We also saw puffins, bald eagles, cormorants, and briefly saw a humpback whale and porpoises. The weather couldn’t have been better. Of course we had to celebrate with an Alaskan Sunrise (vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice) made with actual glacier ice plucked from the ocean water with a net by one of the crew members!
